More about this scene
This bustling market town, dominated by lofty brewing chinmeys, has been brewing beer since the 18th century. Here, on the left, is a fine old building, now a tea-room, with classic Hovis and Fry's signs tacked on to its frontage. Opposite are the bright new premises of Becketts Bank.
