Hi there I think we’re family my Nan is Maureen and Henry was her father 😎
I think we are family My father was Idris Batt I was born in Horner street and then lived in Grays Crescent. Toots was my Auntie and Billy my Uncle. My Gran was Mabel Batt. My other Gran was Flo Oliver.
Does anyone remember Olivers garage? Sid Oliver was my Uncle I remember playing in the old cars at the back of the garage. The smell of leather on a hot summers day. My Cousin Jeff Poole would be the driver and I the Passenger. There was an old bath tub outside and when they scrapped a car any loose change was thrown in the bath. We would get some sweets money from it and go to Mrs Harris to buy sweets, great memories. I was Keith Batt.
