Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

According to a limitless book I read about 1962 owned by miss Audrey Green a Nursing Tutor at HS at that time, Thomas Holloway sold pills and made his fortune to build HS on one hill and HollowayCollege on the other. (As psychiatric nursing students we used to joke about his delusions of grandeur!"). Apparently, he spent £1,000 a year on advertising the pills, a considerable sum in those days. Inside the cover was a reproduction of his advert. Miss Green lent me the booklet to read briefly, and even then the publication was out of print.
