Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

My Family

A Memory of West Ham.

I am looking for my family on my dad's side. I remember my grandparents, John and Elizabeth Thompson, they lived at 10, Forest Lane, Stratford, London. I have many happy memories of staying with my grandparents, and of them taking me once to a pantomime. I can't remember where it was, I must have been about 5 at the time. I remember my uncles and my aunt Connie - she had a daughter, Linda. I have lots of lovely memories of things we did. I have a cousin Pat Brooks (nee Thompson), her dad was their son Sidney, and my dad was his brother Charlie. I would really like to find my family, the last time I had contact with them was in 1962. If Pat sees this or any other member of my family I would like to hear from you. Thank you.

hi jean i remember sid, he was a friend of my dads .when i was young we used to have parties in their house .sid was a caretaker i believe at the old maryland school . i think he sadly passed away a few years ago

In july through my message I had printed, I had a huge shock, I found my cousin Pat, and I never knew but I have 2 brothers and a sister, I was so excited to find out about them. I already had one sister Brenda but never knew about the others. It was lovely as in july Brenda and I met one of our brothers and our sister, one of my brothers live in the Canary Islands and the other one and my sister live in Essex. I am so grateful that I found them and we met them as on the 2nd September my sister Brenda died suddenly, I am so pleased she met them before she passed away. Brenda and I were very close and its so tragic what has happened to her. Charles Thompson was our dad and Pats dad Sidney was his brother. thank you for your message. Regards Jean
