Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. The Pheasant

A Memory of Wooburn Green.

Does anyone have any info about this pub? It appears in my family tree, and my family were living in it in 1911, they are shown on the census for that year, but I can't find any contemporary reference to it.
Any info or old photos would be welcome.

I know there's a Pheasant pub on London road in High Wycombe, opposite the cricket field.

My mother is 90 and said that the Pheasant pub was in a hamlet called Burghers Hill in Wooburn Common. It is now a private house.

The previous comment re the Pheasant pub, I agree with the lady of 90. My aunt and uncle lived in Burghers Hill, a short distance from what was the Pheasant, but by then, late 1940s, a private house.
