The Cliffe Maternity Hospital

A Memory of Wybunbury.

I was born in this building in August 1952, does anyone have any photographs?

Also there were two other born around the sametime, who are you?

I was born at the Cliffe 30th December 1952 in what was the original kitchen. Snow a foot thick on the ground. Mums ward was on the ground floor 6 to 8 beds, the babies were taken upstairs at night. Mum and I were in for 10 days the norm in those days. There was always 20 to 30 nappies blowing on the line even though snow on the on the ground. I went to home to Primrose Cottage Buerton between Woore and Audlem.
