Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene
The history of St Hilary's church spans the centuries since the Norman Conquest, and it may even go back to the earliest days of Christianity in Britain. The first church here was built by Robert d'Avranches, one of William the Conqueror's barons. The tower in the foreground is all that remains of the fourth church, which was built in 1530. It was destroyed by fire in 1857: by the time someone had raced to Birkenhead to alert the fire brigade, and they had harnessed the horses to the fire tenders and galloped back to Wallasey, little remained of the church apart from a charred shell and the tower. The tower has recently been renovated, and is due to open to the public as part of a Heritage Trail.
