I was best friends with sylvia Burke at school we was always getting in trouble
Hi I remember a mr woodcock a mrs Savage going out in the morning before breakfast for a run so cold in the winter time but still went polishing our shoes before bed time joining the girl guides and getting kicked out for not doing or paying attention I loved that school best time ever my name is Linda rodriguez if anyone remembers me I think I was at the school between 1968
My brother attended warham court school as he had asthma. It was in the 1970's.every 3rd Sunday would get the train from Victoria to Horsham, where a coach would collect us and take us to the school. I was very young, so don't remember a lot, just bits and pieces. I was sent convalescent after rheumatic fever. I had my 5th birthday there and my cake was cut, usually one slice was given to the headmaster? Anyway I was a bit greedy and had the second slice myself. I remember sing-songs and singing "I wouldn't leave my little wooden hut for you. I've got one lover and I don't want Two-oo". I caught my ...see more
Reading all the memories, mostly happy, and recollections from both staff and pupils at Warnham Court has opened the floodgates to my own happy, carefree school days. Gosh, so many people and recollections! I have to start with the lovely Ernest and Marjorie Savage, they were such a wonderful, caring couple, whom I adored! l remember the name Maureen Leahy .Also remember being taught how to make paper flowers in the linen cupboards.Think there was house mother named Bond originally from Shepton Mallet .l was there for 1958 pantomime.
I was at warnham court the above years.The headmaster was Ernest Savage. I was head girl for my last year and also Arundel house. I was known as Sliv Allen and would love to hear from others. Some names I remember Rose Morris Maureen Leahy Ernie Handley David Cook Ivy Loxdale to name a few.Have special memories of all the pantomimes we put on. my name now is Sylvia Hurley formerly Allen.
i was at thee school from 1962 to 1965 have good and bad memorys would love to hear from anyone who was there i remember a boy i think he was gary he was a twin . i am on facebook please contact me i am patricia lovett and my profile picture is a white cat. i will never for get miss bendy or a girl called nora, also the young girl with a false eye. one off the boys there came from algate he did go to the same school that i went to he had a twin sister
Hi my name is Gary Rock I was at Warnham from 64 -68. my house was Lewis I ended up as head boy for my last term Not great with names or people but still recall very fond memories
Omg I just came across this whilst playing around with new I pad still not sure how it all works but I noticed on. The comments lots of names I recognised. Terry ledane Rita Dixon Linda day Linda Olsen kieth Hollis Mr mackley miss bendy miss bond and loads more some only first names old age setting in my maiden name was Linda Florey would love to here from anyone who was there at that time. Such good memories.
