A Memory of Wealdstone.

First i must tell another story when Charlie Chaplin and Sidney lived with my Grandfather Charlie Ssampson in 23 King Street Gillingham Kent.Coly Goodman American Bought the Gem bottom of King Street in 1909 ,,Needed a Caretaker and Young Girl's to Show People to there Seats,my Grandfather Charlie Sampson Waiting to go into Chatham Dockyard took on the Job,first the Karno Group Came Coly Chose from the Gang Charlie Chaplin
Now Charlie Chaplin and his Brother Sid Chaplin was in Living a Home in London
So Coly ask my Grandfather could these Two Boys Stay with in your House i will Pay,
So they did my Mother has Fond Memories and would Cook them Both there Dinnerr after there show on the Stage at the Gem,
When Coly got in Touch with Mac Sennet in America in 1914 Charlie Chaplin had to say Goodbye But he kept Sending Post Cards to my Mother Telling her he was misses her Dinners until he Married his First Wife,
have many stories Chatham Dockyard has been in Touch and asked me and my family to come over to the Dockyard Museum because i am the only one still Alive who was a Nuclear Physics Refuelier Refueling British and American Submarines and Needed all my Information as i Passed both Exams Since then Gillingham Library are writing my life Story because i also Passed Biology for Farm and Forest after Dockyard Closed Sent to Marconi Systems Rochester as Inspector Elecritain then BOAC Systems
Before Chatham Dockyard worked in the Naval Hospital,Now called the Medway Hospital who also been in Touch wanting my Stories
