Caption for Abbots Ripton, the Flower Gardens c1955: These beautiful gardens at Abbots Ripton Hall were created by Lady de Ramsey and her gardener. The Hall is the centre of the Abbots Ripton Estate; many of its timber-framed and thatched cottages and farmhouses date from the 16th century.
