More about this scene
After the death of Frederick Crowley, Ashdell House was acquired by Guy Ferrand, who changed the name to Morland Hall. The house and grounds then became a hospital run by Henry Gauvain of Lord Mayor Treloar's Hospital. In 1964, there was a sale of the furniture and other contents by direction of the Alton Group Hospital Management Committee.
