I was born at 16 Roding Avene, the prefabs right next to the River Roding. Across the main London Road was Delayneys, also the Masters Match factory with its tall chimmney. I remember the shops in Barking very well when I was a child. Id love to here more about the Nissan Huts in Barking Park, my late husband Allan Longden had so many happy memories of his childhood days there, swimming in the lake and the lido. Can anyone tell me wherebouts the huts were located. Sue Longden
