The only one remaining is the Maud Foster Mill built in 1819 for the brothers Thomas and Isaac Reckitt from Wainfleet, and later operated by the Ostler family. It ceased working in 1949, was restored as a landmark in 1953, and since 1987 has been brought back to work by the Waterfield family.
