All 300,000 photographs in The Frith Collection have been scanned, but as the photos were taken over a 110 year period on a wide range of glass & film negatives, using different photographic processes, every image has to be checked and optimised, before we make a print for a customer.

I was trying to remember Hounslow around 1980. I used to live on Avonwick Road and found this site. I was trying to remember which supermarket was on the High Street. I remember Mr Dixon's delicatessen, there was also a fishmonger near Hounslow East underground station.
Lived at 42 Lampton Road Hounslow from 1946 till 1958 . Was a great place to be bought up. Would love to hear from anyone that remembers me or any friends and family of mine. Lived above Clifford’s Dairy shop crn of Bulstrode Ave. went to Alexandra school.
I attended Chatsworth and then Twickenham County ,was a member of Hounslow swimming club . As Hounslow Baths were closed in the winter months the club used Heston Baths and we always stopped at Rossi’s in Lampton Road on the way home. The best ice cream in the world. I too remember Edmunds but was there a shop called Abernathys that sold sports wear? I remember a hairdressers in Bell Rd ...see more
Lampton park was my playground up to age 9. In late spring I raided the crab apple trees and kept an eye open for Shorty the park keeper. Also raided the pond for newts.
