Stroud, Trinity Church 1890

More about this scene
Holy Trinity Church was built when Stroud Parish was subdivided in the 1830s. At a later stage its twin turrets became unsafe and were removed. The interesting façade of the hospital beyond was also lost when the Peace Wing was added just after World War I. William Cowle's private observatory, seen further to the right, has also long since disappeared.
