I was born in Taplow in 1957, my parents shared a house (a semi) with my grandparents. They lived downstairs and us obviously upstairs.  
I attended St Anthony’s Catholic School on the Farnham Rd and at that time they had only started building the church next to the school.  While I was there I became a member of the 9th Slough Cub’s.  I also went on to play for the cub's football team - but we never won ...see more
I was born in Farnborough Hospital during February of 1940.  My home for the next 7 years was at 9 Kennelworth Road, and then we moved to 263 Crescent Drive, where I spent the next thirteen years.   My recollections of the war are very sketchy, but I will try to give some insight on how people, and more specifically kids, were affected both during and after the war.
