Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

These stones form part of the famous Kennet avenue, a ceremonial avenue that links the southern entrance of Avebury to a smaller stone circle, the Sanctuary, about one mile away. Along this sacred avenue dead bodies were probably carried to the temple of Avebury. Fertility rites dominated Neolithic man; it has been suggested that the shape of the Avenue stones - alternating pillar and lozenge shape - represented male and female fertility.
