A Memory of Barking.

Hi our family used to live at 90 Victoria rd, I remember playing with a girl called Karen harter who lived at the end of Victoria rd, this was late 50s early sixtys, my 2 sisters and me went to northbury school before moving to Salisbury ave. anyone know what ever happened to Karen? would love to make contact again. kevin edwards

I went to Northbury school with my brother Jimmy and my sister Vivian my brother went to Park modern from Northbury but me and my sister went to Westbury.I live on Canvey Island now but I have happy memories of Barking. With regards Carole Jordan.

Hi booki18 thanks for replying to my post, I sometimes miss barking too, although its not how it was, I found it more dirty and people more rude last time I was there (approx. 6 yrs ago now) certainly a lot of changes in the high street, I now live in Canada emigrated back in 76. once again thank you and best regards kevin edwards

Hi Kevin I lived at 119 Victoria Rd from 1962 until 1969(when I was 10) when my parents emigrated to Australia where I still live. I went to Northbury until 1969, and was a member of 8th Barking Cub pack. I've been back once in 2013, lots of memories. Karen would have not been far from us, though I can't remember her.
