Bath, Walcot Parade c.1965

More about this scene
Reaching London Road, we have P.R. Hayes department store on the right, now expanded from the one shop in this view, and on the left the picturesque Walcot Parade of about 1770, with its vaults for coal cellars and stores beneath the curving raised pavement in front. Unlike many of Bath's terraces, the designs of individual houses are not uniform.
