Why are these different? All 300,000 photographs in The Frith Collection have been scanned, but as the photos were taken over a 110 year period on a wide range of glass & film negatives, using different photographic processes, every image has to be checked and optimised, before we make a print for a customer.

In Sept 1965 I went to Bedworth to my first teaching post which was in Hob Lane C of E Infants School with Mrs Dorothy Pye as the headteacher . It was a very old building which had apparently been a ribbon factory. Staff & pupils had outside toilets and the four classrooms had their own coke-burning stoves.
