Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene

Viewed across a new orchard is the mansion of Moore Close. The original house, built by Mr Hutchinson Brown, was bought by Charles Birch Crisp who, in 1910, commissioned newly-qualified architect Oliver Hill to enlarge the house and design the gardens. Newbold Missionary College moved to the site in February 1946.

There Was More To Binfield Than This
There were the Cardricks who lived at the top of Tilehurst Lane and Terrace Road and were a family of carpenters. Then there were the Carpenters who had the garage near the Standard Corner in Terrace Road and the Timms with the other garage and breakers yard in Terrace Road(now South) . Albert Pear

The Love My Life Is Not Forgotten
In Nineteen eighty six I met a girl called Rossamund mills who lived on forest road in binfield with her parents and two brothers and their dog they lived in two Cottages converted to one .her mother was a charge nurse at binfield park house I have good and unhappy memory off that time because Rossamund passed away aged 20 years .in 1986 .that was 29 years ago but memory is still fresh as if it was ...see more

Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
