A Memory of Burnt Oak.
Hello I attended all three of those schools at some point, I remember attending St Annunciation first as a junior. The playground was divided into two by a very low brick divider. Half for boys and half for girls. I took a 52 bus from Preston road and then another bus somewhere near Kingsbury and got off at Burnt Oak Station. This was in the late 40`s..After that I attended St James and St Thomas`s at Marsh lane . I remember going to St Thomas`s by train. I got a train from Preston rd to Wembley Park and another train to Stanmore and then a walk through woods to St Thomas`s.
