I try to visit Cwm Penmachno every June, sometimes my visit is a little late.
My Grandad Hugh, was born in Beniarth (spelling?). I know his father (William Humphrey Evans) worked on Bertie’s farm and as far as I’m aware, my great Aunt Flo was actually born on the farm. They had other siblings too though I’m not sure of age order, their names were Cath, William, Ted and Dennis (who I think died as a baby).

I lived at no.4 Terrace. until 1956. I Have 5 brothers and sisters; Eira Gwyn, David Alan, Islwyn (passed away), Mena Gwyn, Einion Wyn a Glenys Wyn. My parents were Gwyn & Beryl Jones. They were well known as they sang together and in choirs. Margaret Pritchard, my late grandmother lived at no.5 Terrace with her 2 daughters, Roberta & Megan and Gwyn. Later moved to the Junction.
