Does Any Body Remember
A Memory of Cwm.
can any body remember the dairy farm in BRUTON !SOMERSET. I used to go there on my holidays to my uncles farm ! he was the local milk man. I used to sit up next to him on the horse and cart delivering the milk out of big churns , filling up the jugs for all the people as we went along . the cream on the milk was an inch thick and very good to get stuck into ! until you were caught !! If any one can remember any thing about my uncle it would be great ! my aunty was ALICE I really cannot remember my uncles name of which is most shameful . or remember the name of the street where the farm was . I remember it was just out of the main village and had a very large chestnut tree on the left side of the road opposite the right turn into the street ! what was the name of that street !! and the name of my aunty and uncle ! I was only about 6 years old at the time
and it has all passed through my memory the years are between 1940 / 44 a long time I know and that is why I need help !! thank you all Roy Compton AUSTRALIA.
