My Grandfather, Robert Keir Armour, left Scotland to go to America about the year 1891. His home was 20 High Street, Dunfermline. His father was Alexander Armour who owned a carting business. His mother was Janet Keir. Her father was Robert Keir who worked for the Dunfermline Gas Works for 36 years. Robert Keir Armour was among ten children born to Alexander and Janet Armour. ...see more
