I now live in Houston, Texas, USA. My birth certificate has a written record of my being baptized in St James Church in Leith, but I cannot find any record of the church, which was near Gt Junction Street, Leith. Thanks. Morty Grant, born in Lapicide Place, Leith.

Delighted to read that you were born in Lapicide Place Monty. My GGG Grandfather Biagio PAVLICH lived in 7 Lapicide Place until 1881 and afterwards three of his children, Sarah and Stephen until their deaths in 1895 and 1899 and Jane/Joan continued to live there until her 1933 death in Queensberry House.
