As a child in the 1950s I lived in the Swan cottage ( the white 2 storey building on the left hand side of the road opposite the town hall) about middle of the photo. My father Mr E. W. Crocker owned the tobacconist and confectionery shop at street level. We emigrated to Australia in 1959. Unfortunately it has been demolished for a petrol station and a shop.
