Henley On Thames, Regatta Day 1899

More about this scene
To this day, this is the most popular event on the river. A view of the main regatta course is obscured by the bush in the foreground, but there is much other activity to please the eye. The marquees across the water are a small number compared with the acres of tents erected during Regatta Week today.
