This view looks from London Bridge Station approach towards St Saviour's Collegiate Church, which eight years later became Southwark Cathedral. Findlater's Corner on the left is named after Findlater's the wine merchant's, which was just round the corner. The shop is now Oddbins. The decorations and tiered seats are for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee procession (see image number L1305701 for a modern comparison photograph).
