More about this scene
This is another extremely pretty little village in the heart of what was once Cheshire's cheese-producing countryside. Milk is still produced here, but the cheese is now made in local factories rather than on the farms. With farming in decline in the years after the Second World War, much land locally was sold in 1945, and is now owned by the Duchy of Lancaster.
