More about this scene

The charm of post-war rural Britain is captured perfectly here. The Morris on the left advertises driving lessons, while another Morris van in front of it advertises the virtues of a local pedigree herd of Jersey cattle. The almost organic nature of the buildings here has yet to succumb to modernisation, yet Mold has had its share of industrialisation. The town grew in the 18th and 19th centuries through the productin of lead, coal and iron. The Wrexham Lager advertised on the right was the first to be brewed in Britain.
