Prestbury, Bouncers Lane And Blacksmith's Lane c.1960

More about this scene
This thatched cottage stands between Bouncers Lane and Blacksmith's Lane, and is one of many half-timbered buildings in the village. Prestbury claims to be the most haunted village in Gloucestershire. Among the many spectral figures is a cavalier: it is said that he was executed by the staunchly Parliamentarian people of Prestbury in the Civil War.
