A Memory of South Chingford.

I remember perks lovley shop in chingford hatch sold broken biscuits there was a lovley proper butchers the lady there gave me a beautiful China doll went there with my nan Betty sharp in the 1960s always walked home eating a raw sausage you could not do that now but we all survived I remember the old Mano pub before the horseless cartridge . there was a hairdressers as well the man there had two little dogs who always sat out side ever one seemed to no each other then and my nan maid me call everyone aunty or uncle as it was polite the sweet shop was called Kent's and we won a big easter egg there in a raffel once I have some very good memories of chingford sadly ii has changed a bit I even remember savells he had horses and I would often go and look at them lovley.
