Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

My dad (Brian Gray) moved us down form Manchester in Feb. 1964 to open a new pharmacy on the 'new' High Street. We lived upstairs in flat 111 (I think!) and while mum (Margaret Gray) helped dad start the shop, my sister Rona (5 at that time) went to the C of E infant school (near Parish Church) and I being 3 was farmed out to a friend (Dot Large) in an old (and supposedly haunted) 17th century ...see more
My Gran lived in Westbury at 33 Chalford we never met her my Father who was born in the house transferred from the Royal Marine to the NZ Army after the war and never went back. We knew her as Another Gran and still refer to her as that to day. I treasure every thing i can find on where she came from, Her name was Ellen Bartlett and her married name was Grant. Google has made it possible for me to walk where she may have ...see more
My gran used to live in old folks home as well. I think it was called Queens Court. The junior school was just behind it. Also the shops are on left of picture.
My father worked on the site building Westbury Shopping Centre. I remember there being a full size model of a dalek in the dry cleaners that used to be on one end of block. Used to be able to get inside it and pretend to be a dalek, which was great fun for an 8 year old.
