A Memory of Worcester.

I was born at an address on Bromwich Road (home birth 1955) and shortly after my family moved to Old Malvern Road in Powick..I attended Powick School.. then Christopher Whitehead Girl's School. At the age of 13 we moved back to Bromyard Rd ..St John's. My Brother and his Wife still run Brunswick Arms in St John's. Love these memories of Worcester. Glenda (nee Hankins).

Had many happy memories during the times I worked at Bennett's Dairies Office. :)

My Dad lived at Powick on a small farm I think his Father rented , he was born 1905, in the Bransford Road St. Johns Worcester there is a aPub named the Hereford Arms a sort of relative owned it and that is where my dad met my mother, about 1930, when the war came we were sent to stay at my dads sisters at Little Boughton Street, we used to go and play wooden bowls at a big shed at the Portobell Pub on the Bransford Road.
