Warnham Court

A Memory of Warnham Court School.

I remember being sent to Warnham Court in Horsham as a young child. I lived in London at the time and I really don't know why I was sent there. I have had conflicting information that I may have been sick and was sent to the country for the fresh air or perhaps I was just unruly.  I have found out that Warnham Court was run by the then Greater London Council and I have very fond memories of the place. I remember playing in the woods and digging artillery/bullets out of the clay mounds and was told that the army used the grounds for training. Can anyone help me shed some light on what Warnham Court was used for?

I was there around 1964 ,fantastic school run by Mr Mrs Savage,a lot of the pupils there had asthma or maybe missed school at home for one reason or another which applied to me,there's a big following on Facebook with a group for old pupils going way back, hope that helps,
