More about this scene
The Guildhall, dedicated to the Trinity, was built by parish subscription and a legacy from Nicholas Wickham in 1523. The timber-framed, jettied house faces the church and also the lane that crosses the River Granta. It became the Town House in 1547, and a private house in 1697.
