Weston Park also houses the City Museum and the Mappin Art Gallery. The museum contains a collection of cutlery dating from the 16th century and the world's finest collection of Sheffield plate.
The posters on the wall advertise Midland Railway excursions to Blackpool and Weston-super-Mare, promising some hard-earned fun for Worcester's wage slaves.

Wildersmouth Bay was the original bathing beach of the town; those beaches to the west only became accessible after the drafting in of Welsh miners to dig the tunnels by which they are now reached.
Now known as the Weston Rhyn Primary School, the school was built in 1924. Today there are around 160 pupils here drawn from quite a large area.
