Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

I have discovered that this hotel, Hotel Atlanta, Tintagel, was owned by my 2nd cousin twice removed on my maternal side of the family circ. 1950's/1960's. Mr Cyril and Mrs Grace Ayles are my ancestors. I discovered they owned this place from their probate listing. I found a newspaper report that Grace died from a long illness, but what I cannot find is a newspaper report of how Cyril died. ...see more

I was looking through pictures on the FF website of Cornwall, especially those of Helston & Tintagel. The picture of this church stirred an embarrassing memory… From the late ‘70’s to the new century, spent many Sumner hols at these Cornish villages. In 1955 I was 11 years old, I lived in New York with my parents and my brother. My mother was from Scotland, she and my father had met when he was in medical school there. 1954 was my mother's first trip back to see her family since she had left them in July 1943. My brother and I fell in love with Britain and everything about it. That summer we stayed in Scotland. We returned in 1955 and spent about 2 weeks in Tintagel ...see more
