More about this scene
As a relatively new town, Bournemouth was able to develop as a holiday resort unencumbered by the street pattern and buildings of an older settlement; its main purpose has always been to cater for thousands of holidaymakers every week. Here we have a fine view over the Winter Gardens, an indoor facility for tourists.
