Cheltenham, The Queens Hotel c.1955

More about this scene
This hotel was built on the site of the Imperial Well, and its attractive classical portico faces onto Imperial Gardens. It was built in the late 1830s; it is said that it was to have been called the King's Hotel, but King William IV died before it was complete. The Queen in its name obviously refers to Queen Victoria.
