Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene

Glorious views across the Severn Vale to the Malvern Hills add to the charms of The Rising Sun, which has long been a favourite watering hole for the racing fraternity. Just a short trot from here is a stone memorial at the spot where jockey George Stevens, who in Victorian times won the Grand National five times, died after falling from a horse he was riding to his home on Cleeve Hill.

Winchcombe, Toddington, Didbrook
My father was born at 2 Hailes Cottages in 1931. My family live in and around Toddington, Didbrook and Winchcombe. My father was born Leslie Frederick Vallender and adopted by his mother's sister Olive Richings who married Edward Cook (head bellringer at Didbrook Church). Cosy Corner Tea Rooms
Members of my family were owners of the tea rooms at Cleeve Hill and had connections with the golf club there too. We may have some family connections. I have been to visit the area for family history research but could not find the tea rooms / house. I think it was opposite the Cleeve Hill Hotel. Do you have any more info about the tea rooms that might help?

Grandparents Home
Hi, I was hoping some one could help me? I am doing my family history and have come across a photo of my mother's brother taken on Cleeve Hill,  Cheltenham, the address on the picture is as follows: THE COTTAGE C/O FAIRFIELDS EST CLEEVE HILL NEAR CHELTENHAM GLOS. Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
