The customer service team answering the telephone have been trained very well and were polite and courteous. What really sealed the icing on the cake was to receive a replacement within 5 days. I placed this order as a fathers day present and after having read the timescales involved, fully expected the order to miss the fathers day deadline of sunday 18th June and realised this was my fault for leaving it to the last minute and was perfectly happy to explain to my father in law that his present would be a few days late. how happy was I when I rang him to explain this, when he told me that he had a parcel waiting on his doorstep for him when he returned from his holiday on the thursday!! I was amazed that you managed to get this wonderful present made and delivered within a matter of days and it was actually 3 days early for fathers day. thank you so much for your efforts and speediness.

“I have just received my picture of Dale Street, and wanted to tell you how pleased I am with it. I lived in Liverpool until I met my husband and came down South, 38 years ago and the picture brings back happy memories of working along there. It arrived in perfect condition too which was good, as the postman has a habit of folding everything in quarters and jamming it through the letterbox. Owing to your excellent wrapping he had to knock at the door. Thank you once again I'm thrilled with it.

“I have just completed a jigsaw including four pictures of historic Repton (Derbyshire) and was delighted to find one actually showed a car my family owned, parked nr The Arch, Repton School. It was a Ford Squire, reg number clearly visible as 60 ARB-my father was the village policeman in the 50's, I remember being put in the back of the car with my sister, asleep in the middle of the night, to travel on family holidays to Cornwall! It was a lovely surprise..thankyo”

“I am writing to say Thank you because I have been so impressed with your service. Unfortunately, the first item arrived damaged. A straightforward telephone call to a friendly/helpful member of your staff and a replacement was sent within 10 days. I noticed that the title of the map had been incorrectly stated on the reprint. Once again a telephone call to a friendly/helpful person and I was clear as to how things would be resolved. Within 2 weeks a replacement has once again been received. And even yesterday evening somebody telephoned me to arrange the refund to my Account of the Carriage Charge. My experience of using your service has been excellent. Mistakes and problems happen in Business all the time, but when you have an excellent Customer Service Team who are keen to resolve matters to a customers complete satisfaction it makes such a difference. If other Business took the same attitude as yourselves towards Customer Service it would make such a difference to them. I will definitely be using you again. And most certainly recommending you to others”

“Very rarely get to write these. Ordered photo for my Dad at about 8.30 on Sunday night (18th) delivered, correct in all regards on 21st. Thank you for getting this to me on time, I am looking forward to giving it to him for Christmas as it shows his primary school and the road he grew up in and is much better than the bar of fruit and nut my brother and I agreed earlier were the only things he would think of if asked to choose a christmas present. “I was very excited to see this on your website to buy. My parents owned the village shop in the picture from the late 1950's (not sure what date) until 1965 when I was just under 2 years old. They sold your postcards in their shop and I still have some tucked away somewhere. They obviously were very involved in village life although both are now deceased. They used to talk very fondly about their time in Wetheral and the village characters. Thank you for making my Christmas with being able to purchase this item”
