More about this scene
Today, a chemist now occupies the left-hand side of the nearest building, whilst the chemist in this picture became Burton's in 1938. It is now the Catalogue Shop. Next door is the Minerva Printing Works; it later became Lookers stationers, bookshop and printers, and is now a mobile 'phone shop.
