Farnborough is home to much modern architecture; some might say it was bland and characterless. There are three massive shopping centres here.

The large grassy area behind the trees on the right is Queen's Parade through which runs the Aldershot-Farnborough boundary.
Easily the oldest building in Farnborough, the parish church of St Peter dates from about 1200, although there is evidence to suggest a Saxon church may have occupied the site before

Cove is a suburb of Farnborough, famous for its international air show and remembered as the final resting place of Napoleon III, who was dethroned in 1870 and escaped to exile in England, where he died
Fleet is only 40 miles from London, and is located next to Aldershot and Farnborough; the Basingstoke Canal runs across the town. Today the population stands at 26,000.
